PART-TIME WORK SCHOLARSHIP
Our university develops various social service activities to utilize students' time outside of class and contribute to their financial well-being. Part-time work is one of the most effective, both in concept and outcome. In this program, conducted at our university, students are insured against work-related accidents and are employed in required university units for a maximum of 15 hours per week. Part-time students are paid monthly based on the minimum hourly wage. The quota for part-time students is determined each year according to the relevant regulations.
Students wishing to work part-time must complete the "Part-time Work Scholarship Application Form" at http://www.alanyauniversity.edu.tr/ in September. Lists of students eligible for part-time work are posted on the student affairs bulletin boards in each faculty and department. The part-time work scholarship is valid for one academic year, and applications must be renewed annually.
Part-time students have designated staff members in each unit. Unit Managers are required to complete a timesheet showing the number of hours students work in a month.
